How long will it take?
The registration process is normally completed within 25 minutes.
What if I have more than one child?
After you have completed your first child you can click “Add child” to add an additional child to your account.
Why are you asking so many questions?
The National Quality Framework mandates the information that TheirCare must collect to register the child. This enables TheirCare to make sure that we understand your child’s needs, wants and particulars to provide the best level of care.
What if I don’t have a CRN?
You can still complete your registration and update your details when you receive your CRN at a later date. Just leave the field blank in the registration.
A CRN is a Centrelink reference number and is needed to apply for rebates. Various subsidies are available from the government to reduce the cost to families for using outside school care services.
Child Care Benefits (CCB) is applied based on your family income, which is assessed by the Department of Human Services.
The Child Care Rebate (CCR) is currently available to most families, it is a 50% rebate on the out of pocket costs.
Contact Centrelink on 13 61 50 to register and we recommend that you nominate for the CCR to be paid directly to TheirCare.
